Fashion influencer, designer, folk artist, entrepreneur -- Enid Collins was all these things and more. This digital collection covers Enid's most-active professional years as designer and co-owner of Collins of Texas, from 1959 to 1970. It also includes Collinsiana designed after the sale of the company to Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. in 1970, including pieces designed by Enid until she left in 1972, plus post-Enid "Collins of Texas" bags. The collection is a work in progress and far from complete. As the Finding Enid with LOVE project evolves, I hope to build a comprehensive, permanent collection to be shared around the world, for generations to come.
Help me fill in the blanks: I actively seek pieces missing from this collection, as well as information Enid's work, her life and the people who love Collinsiana. If you would like to contribute to this project, I'd love the support. Visit the Community and Participate sections of this website for how you can help.
