Enid Collins Box Bag Collection
Fashion icon, artist, entrepreneur -- Enid Collins was all of these and more. This online sampler shares some of the vintage Collins box purses in my Finding Enid with LOVE physical collection, which currently holds about 2,000 objects. It covers Enid's most active professional years as head designer and co-owner of Collins of Texas, a period from post-World War II to the early 1970s.
Like the physical collection, this online sampler is a work in progress. I am always seeking Enid Collins artworks, as well as information on her work, life and the many people who have made and worn her bags.
