Support the Project
The actual practice of "purse anthropology" calls for many different tasks. Searching for and acquiring bags and jewels, research, and finding the people who knew Enid Collins (including travel) or documenting the stories of those who loved her purses all take effort, time and money.
Your support may be as simple as contacting me with a story about your grandmother’s Enid Collins bag or sharing photos of your own collection, or donating items or funds. No matter how you choose to support Finding Enid with LOVE, you’ll be making a valuable contribution to help the project thrive and reach its mission.
And the appreciation of Enid Collins fans everywhere will be beyond measure!
How to Contribute or Collaborate
I’m always looking for information about Enid Collins and her works, as well as photos, objects, and your own stories, so contact me if you’d like to share or work together on your own project. Other ways to support Finding Enid with LOVE:
donate items
share a bag, jewels or a collection
Do you have an Enid Collins bag or two gathering dust in a closet? A stash of jewels forgotten under your bed? A collection you've spent a lifetime building, and want to see placed in the best possible hands? Consider donating an item or collection to the project.
donate funds
spread a little glad money
Funds go toward expenses for raising public awareness about Enid Collins and her work, completing research and other anthropological work and building the permanent collection, which I hope to loan and otherwise make available to museums, schools and others.
make a purchase in the museum shop
grab some glitzy goodies!
