Butterfly Box (1961) appears to be the earliest butterfly-themed box bag. It seems to be the beginnings of not only the "flutter-bye" and "flutterbye box" designs, but also the "glitterbugs" theme. Flutter-bye is apparently an old English word for butterfly, and today certainly has happy fairy connotations. Such a playful word!
