DESCRIPTION
Summary
Solid-wood casket-style box purse screen printed in black, depicting the main characters of "The Owl and the Pussycat" fable. Front panel features large, stylized black cat with eyes and nose decorated with crystal faux gems and metallic acrylic embellishments. Top features stylized owl with similar eye and beak treatment, plus crystal claws. Simple flowers also embellished with imitation jewels and metallics. "owl + pussy cat" serigraph appears in lower left corner of front in hand-script cursive style. Two black leather handles. One variation on this theme.
